Guest sentiment
A snapshot of what local diners frequently mention about this location.
"The staff are very nice. They do not speak very fluent English but they tried their best to make us feel their friendliness and willingness to help."
"Surprised by the quality of the a la carte dinner which came with our half board booking. The meats in particular were very good but salads and postres weren't bad either. Waiters were friendly but had a hard time getting the food out of the kitchen and to the masses."
"Beautiful restaurant. The staff were brilliant when I used my English to Spanish translation, very helpful and friendly. The food was top quality, well presented, and the surroundings felt very high class with a warm and inviting atmosphere. Highly recommended."
"I dont understand negative reviews about this restaurant within the santuary del lluc. I had breakfast here as I was staying in at the hotel and breakfast was just OK, nothing to write home about. cold is the description as no hot food. then I came for dinner and I really liked it. I had the Menu de Dia 3 course meal, which i recommend [18€],you are in mountains afterall. the starter chickpea stew was delicious. the main roasted chicken with salad and fries was tasty. fries were well cooked and crispy. chicken was moist. dessert was kinda mhe as they used the canned whipping cream. servers really tried and are good fun."
"I don't get all the hate in the comments. We stayed in the hotel and did not book half-board, instead we went relatively spontaneously and ate à la carte. We came around 2000, were seated promptly and the service was quick overall ( despite the place being full ). The food was decent, I had the suckling pig and my partner the stuffed egg plant. The pig was a generous cut and very tender, relatively lean with a crispy skin. It could have used a few more herbs in my opinion though but it fint know how the traditional dish is usually prepared. For 19€ ( just the pig) The value is actually extremely good as the prices here are lower than most places we visited in the tramuntana. Overall the bill was 52€ for bread and Aolli, the two mains, a bottle of water, a glass of the house wine, a big beer and two espressi. Normally i'd give them 4 stars but since there are so many unreasonable low ratings I give one extra."
"I've got there a really good piece of lasagne - fresh and hot, straight from the oven, delicious! Good portion for a reasonable price. The place itself is pleasant with nice and friendly people. Since I was spending one night in the monastery, I also got a breakfast there. Great choice of quality types of ham and cheese, fresh fruits, fresh bread."
"Very good food and the surroundings were beautiful. Not too busy which is a lovely break from the otherwise very touristy Mallorcan cities. If you are looking for an authentic Mallorcan experience, this is the place to be."
"The food was very delicious and the staff was very friendly. They were very fast. The atmosphere was cozy. I don’t understand the negative comments about the restaurant."
